O' levels and A' levels
By the end of the Key Stage 4 SBS begins to follow IGCSE O’ level and A’ level Examination System conducted by Cambridge International Examination – United Kingdom.
During this Academic Year 2008 – 2009 SBS 1st Batch of students will be appearing for the IGCSE [Grade 11].
We at SBS follow IGCSE System in Grades 9, 10 and 11.
Keeping in mind our young enthusiasts, SBS tries and caters to all their needs by offering the following subject choices as per the relevant streams of Science, Commerce and Arts.
All students will have to appear for the following subjects:
COMPULSORY SUBJECTS
- English as a second language
- Maths
- ICT
OPTIONAL SUBJECTS
- Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Science Stream)
- Business, Accounts, Economics (Commerce Stream)
- History, Geography, Coordinated Sciences (Arts Stream)
Furthermore, besides this each student will appear for Arabic and Islamic Studies examination according to the Ministry of Education.
As a latest update, let us inform you that we at SBS by the grace of Almighty tend to begin A’ levels (Grade 12 onwards) from the next academic year 2009 / 10. In this regards we need your full support and coordination.
