School Bus - Door to Door Service
SBS operate a number of School Buses which operate a door to door service.
These buses are also used for school trips and sports fixtures.
All of the buses are fully insured and the drivers have satisfied SBS of their competence.
A nanny and/or teacher is always present on the bus.
Students availing of the use of the buses should observe the following rules:
- Students should remain seated at all times in their designated seat.
- Students should be polite and courteous to all, including fellow students, staff and drivers.
- Food or Drink must not be consumed on the bus.
- Students should not endanger themselves or other parties on the road by their behaviour on the SBS bus.
- Nothing must be dropped from the windows at all.
- Games and mobile phones should not be used on the bus.
- The bus is not the place for completing homework tasks.
- If a student is absent, it is the responsibility of the parent to inform the bus Nanny at 6:30am.
Students, who do not observe the above rules, and any amendments brought in by the Management, will receive one verbal warning, followed on by a written warning.
If the problem occurs a third time, students will have the privilege of travelling on SBS buses withdrawn. There will be no refund of bus fees.
